Volunteering for Lower South Baseball

Volunteer Credit Program (Spring 2026)

Lower South Baseball is a volunteer-run, nonprofit league. To thank the families who help keep our season running smoothly, we’re offering a Volunteer Credit Program for Spring 2026.

Earn a $100 Registration Refund by serving in one of these key roles:

  • Head Coach – Leads a team for the season by running practices/games, teaching fundamentals, and supporting a positive, fun experience for players.
  • Snack Stand Captain – Division-level open/close lead and point of contact: while you’re already at the LOSO fields to watch your player, arrive a bit early to unlock/open the snack stand on assigned days, check in with the volunteers working the shift if questions come up, and make sure everything is properly closed and secured at the end of the games.

Earn a $50 Registration Refund by completing 2 or more volunteer sign-ups during the season (examples include snack stand shifts, Opening Day support, field work, or other approved volunteer slots).

Lower South Baseball is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization - and every season we deliver is powered by neighbors who step up. Our volunteers make it possible to bring baseball to the kids and families of Lower Southampton Township, from opening day to the last out of the season.

We’re always looking for help in a variety of ways, including:

  • Snack Stand Support

  • Behind-the-scenes Support (scheduling, emails, logistics)

  • Opening Day Volunteers (set-up, preparation, clean-up)

  • Coaches (all age levels)

  • Field Maintenance & Prep (prep, lining, small projects)

Whether you can help once, a few times a season, or take on an ongoing role, it makes a real difference. Join us and be part of what makes Lower South Baseball special.

Required Clearances for Volunteers

All coaches must have the required clearances before the season starts and right now it is free.

In order to volunteer within our organization, we must have valid clearances on file. We ask that you apply for your clearances and upload them now so they are fully in place for the start of the season. These can be requested from the below:
